On Wednesday we (myself, Lorna Li, SEMPO, and Enquisite) are going to be hosting a happy hour for search marketing professionals throughout the Bay Area. This is a great chance for you to network and connect with other search marketing professionals in the area. Heck even if you’re not a search engine marketer you should show up to meet some smart folks!
Our group has grown to over 3,500 members from around the world and we have some of the best marketers on the planet as members.

Light appetizers are going to be provided and the first two drinks are complementary thanks to Enquisite, which is a provider of a really kick ass analytics tool. Now if that’s not an incentive to come then I don’t know what is!

As a creator of the Search Marketing Salon (along with Lorna Li), I am very excited to announce that we have partnered with SEMPO to host an event on August 13th at Medjool in San Francisco (from 6-8). For those of you not familiar with SEMPO, it is a group for search engine marketing professionals in San Francisco, we get together and discuss online marketing strategies, industry trends, and we just have a good ‘ol time. For those of you not familiar with Search Marketing Salon (you better be!) we host events in San Francisco as well and we open up our doors to online marketers, entrepreneurs, social media experts, etc. We love meeting clever and creative people from all around the world. If you are not a member yet, then feel free to join our group. We are going to building out our site in the near future and will have some very exciting things going on so stay tuned!
The event is going to be sponsored by Marin Software and there are a lot of great folks attending to it should be a good time, we currently have 103 rsvp’d guests so if you would like to attend (and I hope you do!) please visit our meetup page.
