Chocolate, a Poem by Josh Morgan

Chocolate, the Cadillac of all sweet sweets.
Let the luxury of the chocolate fill your needs.
It creates what we call the dream of creamy goodness.
Smooth and creamy, that’s luxury.

This is not all, you must handle
It with care.
Be careful,
Let it not slip off your delicate lips
And run down your chin.
Do not let it escape your grasp.

Create an image of what it can be.
The smooth rich taste,
Let it fill your mouth.
Handle with care and enjoy,
It will not last long.

Now lets talk about Dark Chocolate.

The Water Drop

water-drop

A little while ago I featured a poem my little 16 year old brother Josh called World Vision.  Here’s another poem that he recently wrote called The Water Drop.  Enjoy!

Water…no taste but an elegant feel.
Feel it wash your body.
Feel it connect with your inner self.
Feel the essence of moisture and coolness run up and down your body.

One drop, the one and only one needed to cleanse the soul.
It is not just water but much much more.
Let it slip, let it
Fall.
Let your soul call.

It is if God himself has come down and asked you to feel what he feels.
Close your eyes.
Feel the coolness.
Feel the feel of the human spirit.
Open your eyes.
You are now clean.
